How’s Your Foundation?

Our goal is to continuously build our house on faith, trust and obedience in Jesus Christ.

Sometimes it takes a spiritual earthquake for us to realize that we’ve been relying solely on our own power to make it through circumstances in our lives. I’ve had too many of those! It took making this repeated mistake for me to recognize that I was living on a Spiritual Fault Line!

I’ve since moved from that neighborhood☺️ into a better house that’s being built on consistent Trust in Jesus Christ! But that’s just like us humans isn’t it? We can be so hard headed and self-reliant😂 We so often stand in our own way and think that we can ‘work out’ how to move through it.

I for one am grateful of the Lord’s patience! Experience is the best teacher, but if we just adhere to God’s blueprint for living we wouldn’t need to go through so many ‘experiences’!🤪 But this too is our journey.

So Let’s prioritize our spiritual blueprint that comes from a small but thorough recipe:

Spiritual Blueprint for Living

The world says be strong God says “My strength is made perfect in weakness” - 2 Corinthians 12:9

The world says be self sufficient God values His children to depend on one another.

The world says do you. God says depend on Him.

The world says build yourself up. God says build up ourselves in His knowledge, His wisdom over everything.

The world says show yourself to the world. God says show Him through ourselves to the world.

The world says have pride. God says pride is sinful - be humble

The world has always been opposite of the way of our Savior God. Being caught up in this world fosters confusion, and dissatisfaction.

Being caught up in the Lord brings lasting comfort, peace, stability in the one who created us.

Let’s keep working to build a solid foundation for eternal living! 🙏🏽 Amen
