By His Wounds...

It is my hope that this Passover season, this Easter holiday gain the respect and recognition for what it is, our acknowledgment and celebration of our LORD Jesus and his miraculous rise; the real and ultimate 'rise to power'!!

Christ's resurrection is personal for each one of us because he was Sacrificed for Each and every one of us, think about it! It's a love that stands no comprehension by our human minds, but, just the knowledge of it is almost overwhelming (at least for me it is!).

As we witness the world in its declining state, because of Jesus, we can still have hope. We hope not in fellow mankind, but hope in our Lord, hope in living life that is pleasing to him, hope in raising the light on earth through being the light and spreading that light.

As long as we are alive we will walk with our sin; however, it is through our Faith in Christ that we are saved from it!! He is the only way out of our sin-selves. Jesus's resurrection wasn't the end game, it was the beginning until...for us! He is our brother and we are his co heirs, [ this is so much greater than worldly accomplishments! ], and I'm sorry, but that just thrills me! Whenever I'm feeling the brunt of this world, and life's complicated ingredients, I remember this, I remember who I am and why I am...because He is!

[ Let's just call this the Jesus Jam! ]

Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but an heir of God through Christ.

~Galatians 4:3-7

[ They always wanted to know the time, if only they'd known, it's time in Jesus that would have sorted out their crazy lives! LOL ]

I was reading a book/play, [ Peter And Alice by John Logan ] a story of adult Alice (in Wonderland) and Peter Pan, ( as real everyday people and former book celebrities), and in a conversation, they were talking about how they couldn't escape their memories, how they were trapped in their past as virtual characters of themselves created by the authors of those stories.

[ Peter: "That's their power, these writers, these men of words. Trap baited and sprung, and before you know it you have to chew off your leg to get free." ]

This parallels our own lives, as we live so often feeling trapped in our memories of ourselves and past circumstances, so many times we've become our own victims of our actions based on what and who we believe we are from those circumstances. But, we can chose not to an accumulation of any past delete our greatness through the Lord, we don't need to chew off our feet for freedom! [ It never works anyway! :() ]

[ The Lamb of God. Oh so holy!! ]

Freedom exists right where we are! We can choose to walk in freedom each moment of our lives. Our freedom stems form our Lord Christ, our Father God! Hallelujah! We must keep reminding ourselves of this, of who we really are and play that against what the world says we are, against former circumstances, against our own memories and summations of what we think and what the enemy tells us!

Let's celebrate, our Savior, let's fill up on humility and gratitude for the Grace extended to us from an uncomprehending love bestowed to us, his children! Amen!
